WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER'S SOCIOECONOMIC BACKGROUND? WHAT IS THEIR RELATIONSHIP TO WEALTH?:

she grew up pretty wealthy! upper-middle class at the very least. her mother clearly had them living off an inheritance, and after her death, her step-father tries to kill them because she gives the inheritance to her daughters instead of him. but also, it was 1960s wealth (which is still quite a lot but she has no idea what an iphone is).

WHAT WOULD/DID YOUR CHARACTER MAJOR IN?:

she would have majored in something like liberal arts, or history. she probably wasn’t on the way to college because she was taking care of her mom and little sister but she’s a smart cookie.

WHAT IS THE MOST INTERESTING THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOUR CHARACTER?:

after accidentally killing her little sister, babydoll is thrust into the corrupt world of an asylum, admitted by her step-father to get her out of the picture. she comes up an elaborate plan to escape when she finds out the owner (blue) has been bribed to lobotomize her. with only 5 days before her inevitable end, she uses cleverness and attention to detail to steal a map, set the place on fire, stab an orderly, and help one of her new found friends escape. because of the trauma she’s dealt with, she creates realities in her mind as she completes each “mission”. every step closer to escape leads to the death of her friends, and only one of them makes it out alive because babydoll sacrifices herself, handing herself up on a silver platter to accept her fate of being lobotomized.
